As Chief Medical and Strategy Officer, Barbara strengthens collaboration across the glomerular disease ecosystem to advance scientific and clinical development, novel therapies, and key ISGD initiatives.
Laurel is the founding executive director of ISGD, as well as an FSGS patient and transplant recipient. She previously held leadership roles in ethics and compliance technology, medical device localization, and publishing, and is a longtime patient advocate devoted to rare kidney disease.

ISGD STEERING COMMITTEE
ISGD is led by an international collective of experts in glomerular disease science and clinical care. In keeping with our ethos of cross-stakeholder collaboration, our steering committee includes not only clinicians and researchers, but also representation from allied professional societies, patient organizations, and industry.
