A practical half-day program for pediatric nephrology clinical trial education, collaboration, and patient-centered research.

Event Introduction

The landscape of kidney disease treatment is evolving rapidly, with innovative therapies entering clinical phases at an unprecedented pace. However, the growth of the clinical research workforce has not kept pace with the volume of trials requiring qualified investigators. The need for a sustainable pipeline of trial-ready sites with highly trained nephrologist-investigators has never been more urgent. That need is especially clear in Latin America, where the burden of kidney disease remains high and participation in clinical trials has historically been limited.

ISGD is proud to partner with ALANEPE to bring this curriculum to their congress in Mar del Plata, Argentina, and to latin american pediatric nephrologists. This bootcamp addresses that gap directly by providing practical training, mentorship access, and networking opportunities for pediatric nephrologists, fellows and beyond. A wave of clinical trials is on the horizon, and ISGD is equipping the next generation of pediatric trialists with the tools, connections, and confidence to ride it.
