Time To Train 2026

Pediatric Nephrologists, Latin America
A GAP IN KIDNEY DISEASE CLINICAL TRIALS
The landscape of kidney disease treatment is evolving at an unprecedented pace, with a surge in innovative therapies entering clinical phases. However, the growth of the clinical research workforce has not kept pace with the volume of trials.
The need for a sustainable pipeline of trial-ready sites with highly trained investigators has never been more urgent.
Attendees of these training bootcamps will include a range of nephrologists: pediatric or adult, fellows to attendings, those practicing in academia or the community.
- Increase the number of nephrologists involved and conducting clinical trials to ultimately achieve more regulatory approvals and new therapies for kidney patients.
- Foster a culture where clinical trial participation is an option for care, and is seamlessly integrated into the standard of care for adults and children with kidney disease.
- Equip new investigators with a practical roadmap for integrating clinical trials into their practices. Participants will learn to navigate budgets and site operations while mastering the essential ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ of trial participation.
